About our Founder:

Reverend James Edward Smith - February 20, 1929 – June 17,
2000 - Reverend James Edward Smith, /Henry – Founder of the Henry
Foundation and Master Teacher was one of the most powerful psychics in the
metaphysical field who worked helping people all over the world for over fifty
years prior to his death June 17, 2000. He become better known in the
metaphysical field by the name of Henry, which he adopted from a higher entity
that he advocated, was his source from which he received channeled information
and knowledge.
He was a native of Omaha, Nebraska, USA, born February 20,
1929, went to Creighton University and was the proud father of four with
twenty-one lovely grandchildren. He was a minister in the Universal Life
Church, served in the armed forces, worked as a professional photographer and
traveled extensively in the USA and abroad. He pioneered and taught
Introduction to Metaphysics’ classes at the Omaha Metropolitian Community
College.
Henry’s commitment and main purpose for embodiment during
this great golden age was to spark the flame within others, to encourage them
to further their quest towards the Christ Consciousness, inspiring them to find
“their way”, to search for their own truths, to become aware of their true
potential, helping them to work towards opening their heart center and
encouraging them to look to the God within. The emphasis of his work was always
self-development and spiritual growth through raising energies and new thought
philosophy. He helped countless numbers of people over the years to find
direction and purpose for their lives. He offered understanding and insight
into a persons true self, answers to specific areas in their lives whether
spiritual, emotional, physical, financial, relationships, future events,
attitudes or otherwise. He was enlightening, detailed and precise. His
abilities in reading the Akashic Records as well as the Records of Probability
gave him an edge. The higher part of James/Henry saw ALL in everyone. Anyone
that crossed his path in this incarnation received a blessing of their entire
evolution!
Being a gifted spiritual healer/teacher and a fountain of
knowledge, his talents and abilities in helping people find peace within their
lives were endless. He was an expert in raising energies, meditation, psychic
and spiritual development offering growth at all levels, body, mind and spirit.
His warmth and humor permeated his teachings, he combined his psychic gifts,
clairvoyance and ability in reading auras to help people understand and give
them a perspective of what was needed to achieve their goals and bring harmony
into their lives. His advice related suggestions and personal choices that
could be made for change of attitudes and actions that when applied could help
make one’s life go better. His greatest desire was to see people live their
lives with Love – Light – Harmony & Joy.
Master Teacher and friend, he is truly missed, but we feel he
is still very connected spiritually to those still in embodiment on planet
earth to continue his great works for the force.

Our History:

The Henry
Foundation, a 501C /non-profit organization – registered with the Federal
Government was organized by Reverend James Edward Smith /Henry on July 12,
1993, after years of teaching and helping many students worldwide. The
foundation was developed for the purpose of helping to further the
Christ-Consciousness with hopes of sparking the flame within people to
encourage others such as you the reader, to find “your way”, your own truths,
and begin and/or continue your own search, and to look to the God within. The
articles of incorporation states:
Purpose:

To further Christ-conscious ideals, principles, and ethics in personal
spiritual development on a nondenominational foundation.

To provide ongoing programs in development and understanding of human potential
through metaphysical resources and teach basic meditation techniques to all
that wish to learn.
The Henry Foundation achieves these goals and purposes mainly through
Metaphysical classes and Metaphysical retreats. Check out our Events page for
